I think the proneural don't respond as well because they are not as immunogenic as the mesenchymal initially, but another question to be answered in this phase III trial is that since proneural quickly transition to mesenchymal type tumors after chemoradiation, does reintensification of dosage upon crossover give DCVax-L a second and stronger crack at those original proneural tumors? IMHO.
