I won't touch the FastEBM topic now but take a look at the specifications for the A2X. I believe that it's the same for the Q10 and Q20 but it's not advertised. Some of the videos online show well over 20 melt pools. I tried to count them once using still images. I don't remember the maximum that I saw. I'll look and see if I saved any of that information.
