Yes I agree with this -

In Japan things like cartels trying to slow down a potential remedy being developed for AD would very simply not be allowed...

Because of cultural respect for elders it would not be allowed, but still, one has to be connected to trading groups that go back hundreds of years or more to do business effectively in Asia, so that is why we need and Asian partner.
