It doesn't sound like he needs to go back to the "drawing board" with the current therapy regarding some subtypes -- cough...at least mesenchymal.

We've heard that assumption from LL and now RP. MB also made it pretty clear this is what he assumes is already self evident at this point. Mesenchymal can make up to 50% of GBM, and research suggests GBM cells tend to transition more toward a mesenchymal subtype upon recurrence. So, there is that.

Moreover, I would not call a combo trial with such incredible promise, and that might go very quickly, exactly heading back to the "drawing board."
