I don't believe a stock buyback is possible. GTE is a Delaware Corporation, and as such cannot use available funds to repurchase stock until the company reaches profitability.
I know this because one of my other investments, iBasis (IBAS) is also a Delaware Corporation, and were faced with the same limitations a couple of years ago before they reached profitability.
It's not going to happen with GTE for the same reason.
That's a wonderful idea: spend what money we have left buying shares in the company rather than completing one of the hundreds of projects in the fire which would generate a share price increase. Now is the time to spend company funds wisely and get the cash flow positive.
