Actually, that's how I found out about the Actipatch, and gave it to my brother who had just had knee surgery.

It helped with the recovery time, and, at that time, we were able to buy it off of Amazon.com, and not have to worry about the consequences.

Unfortunately, the FDA is so anal in some ways, and so unbelievably lax in others, it's hard to know exactly who they are trying to protect.
