Like I said BOEING nor Airbus are going to skimp and buy a bargain brand bearing. It doesnt make since to use old technology in a new Plane. That would not be smart what so ever on their part. Its been proven that new liners last much longer and the bearing itself life cycle is 4 times greater. Now we can go at this all night but Im not buying into the Bullshit that TPAC will supply any large plane manufactures bearings. PERIOD. If they ever do sell bearings (which I highly doubt) they will go on Turbo prop planes in 3rd world countries.

Wrong. It is neither a safety nor a liability issue. The non-Type A bearings meet the SAE-AS81820 requirement. Their replacement will come during the normal service of the airliner at the time specified. Every part has a scheduled life span and is replaced during overhaul including bearings.
