How long can they run on the cash can they get from this deal...will it be included in the 10K?

SunEdison has signed a definitive agreement to sell its silicon wafer manufacturing plant in Kuching, Malaysia to China-based LONGi Silicon Materials Corporation.

Silicon wafer manufacturing is largely performed by global manufacturers like LONGi, typically as part of a vertically integrated, high-volume business model. LONGi will operate the facility once it assumes ownership. The sale is expected to close in March 2016, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

They have cash, and assets, it only appears to look dire until after the Viviant deal is officially done!

I'm sorry it doesn't work that way, you can't be the cause of a problem and walk away from a deal because of that..
Please note that I'm 100% on your side, I've 8000 shares at average 2.6 (which I kindof regret now because I'm not rich and this is risky stuff), but unfortunately a solution is not that obvious.
There's a good seeking alpha podcast which gives a good picture of the situation. Not without hope but definitely messy.

Just wondering.... the issue is that the agreement was made when the pps was much higher. The market crashed and now SUNE is paying too much...
Tepper steps in and delays the deal till march 18...
SUNE "walks away" but then offers a new deal at a much lower pps.

The deal is now worth it (or at least a fair deal)since the market is distressed.

Could it be that Tepper just wants us to get a better deal?
