Newisys. I think the company was created to matherialize some big guy's interest with Opteron without too much exposure and alienating anyone. I don't think to plan was to have any significant revenue 3 months after Opteron introduction. I hope they can count money and they knew exactly how much they need before starting the wide hire.
The article conclusions seems to be pure speculations, the only fact listed there is that they laydoff many people and are prepared to be acquired. I don't trust even the speculated buyer info. For me it's more like back to daddy wing process.
I love the comment that "Newisys" name can't be for a while. That's another proof of my theory that there is no troubles for Newisys, maybe problems, maybe a lot of politics, but not troubles. I completely agree with sgolds.
