that's certainly possible.
my thought is it depends entirely on the position the casino took last two days.

ie: if they squeezed shorts last 2 days
then went short themselves
then could see a strong drop to boost their profits therein.

mar4 put open interest jumped today
with huge open volume all the way down to 191 strike.

so some folks are betting big that we drop by EOD tmrw.
we'll see...
