I do not disagree that it is very irritating, at a minimum, that a lot of financial crimes are either not prosecuted or under prosecuted. But that doesn't mean that other crimes, such as the bid rigging here, should be ignored. It absolutely should be prosecuted. Instead of being irritated that some crimes are not prosecuted, be glad that some of them, including this one, are.
It will be interesting to see what that DOJ Task Force comes up with in other oil and gas plays.
