It's not clear, nor is there a control to the data (meaning comparable market rates for the same type, geographical location, or condition of the property) to provide context. Just a lot of opinions flying around with subjective unqualified statements like "ridiculous spending". Board, we'll get to the bottom of it in due time.

AVII can probably explain more in detail, but his next post to me was quite interesting. From my understanding of his "a tale of two subleases" post, is that larger 7000 square feet space was the more reasonably price rent in 2009, leased from American Cap LTD. According to AVII's last post, they were still paying Toucan $5k a month for the remaining time on the lease. And apparently received rent from Toucan for a short bit. I do not know the amount.
