If approved, then DCVax-L would in first instance be a treatment that would go along with radiation & chemo, so Big Pharma might not have much to lose there.
However, Big Pharma might have much more to lose if DCVax-Direct obtains approval.
And thus Big Pharma might be anxious to see DCVax-L not make it to the finish line, since that could make it more difficult for DCVax-Direct to make it to the finish line.
And perhaps some Big Pharma companies might want to partner with a company to bring a DC therapy to market, or do it on their own, but Linda Powers may not have given them an affordable option to partner with NWBO ... So perhaps BP is trying to make it difficult for NWBO to succeed to give itself more time to come up with their own therapy or a partnership with a different company.
