Amazing, technology is just going crazy and yes I guess another possible use of polymer photonics in data conversion/writing to the device but that IMO it is a long time off. From a practical standpoint let’s say that it does outlast man, how in the world would whomever discovers this in a billion years understand what is inside and figure out how to read it, oh I guess we will leave them directions on the wavelength and language. Can you imagine what the world will be like when we are capable of storing everything that an individual did in their lifetime, along with photos from space and cameras on every corner, no thanks, let alone in a presidential race? No Thanks too many skeletons in my closet for sure. I threw a rock at George when I was 6 in Ohio, turns out he is trans now so, you know what I’m saying.
