I agree that a wet ground is very helpful to pulling weeds. I remember one time pulling weeds after a rainfall and thinking how easy it was to pull out even the hardiest of them all. Thanks for tip on Roundup.

We try to avoid any chemicals inside or outside the house but sometimes there are no alternatives.
