Eric, My attention span flickered and flared out somewhere in there so you might have said this. IMO the "average" prices they use in those discussionsare derived by giving the wholesale price of each model handset equal weight; that is, summing the asking prices for each model and dividing by the number of models offered.
A couple of high-priced jobs that are purchased only by the rajahs will skew the average hugely.
