I don't think it is fair to say as fact that LL said in video that SOC + placebo patients are living longer. --- BuyWhenISell

I realize you did not address your post to me, but my interpretation of what Dr Liau said in the video about "patients living longer":
I do not believe she had any intention to include SOC + placebo patients in that generalized statement. So no, I do not believe it is fair to say as fact that these patients are living longer. To the contrary, I do not believe she meant to include them. (Although these patients might be living slightly longer than originally foreseen at the onset of the trial design etc, due to some advancement in surgical techniques etc).

Instead, I believe Dr Liau meant that the patients from the placebo arm that crossed over & then started to receive the real vaccine instead of placebo were experiencing longer survival (despite the tumor recurrence) than expected,
and in addition I believe she implied that the patients in the treatment arm were experiencing longer survival.
This seems to jive with her comment that they now are comparing OS between early vaccination versus late vaccination.

Dr. Linda Liau said "all patients are living longer". She then went on to say "hopefully" with regard to crossover option patients who didn't get anything, ie. DCVax, and may have gone on to other treatments without it. In my opinion, it is these patients who, as a group, are receiving some benefit from treatments like checkpoint inhibitors and are part of the "all", that she hopes will show that DCVax treated patients will benefit more than.
