Broker reverses and sticks them restricted making those that sold short tradable shares.
There are probably several dozen messages on this thread telling people not to sell restricted shares that showed up as tradable shares.
You'll get nowhere going after any broker for making the mistake, because the order is unsolicited and it is YOU that is supposed to know what the hell you are trading and what you are supposed to own
