Savvy investors take ALL evidence they can find to figure out an overall picture. In a perfect world all evidence would come with a DNA footprint and Jesus Christ himself would wink and say it's good, but unfortunately that's not the way the world works and to be successful one has to take circumstantial evidence at times and add some street smarts.
Anybody with street smarts smells this as modern day snake oil that is coming unglued.
