Dont know the details for the FBI purchase but using the Feds as an example of tech savey buyers is a joke. I have worked the last 25 years for a 'high tech' federal intelligence agency and have watched them purchase the oldest, outdated loads of crap for way too much money CONSISTENTLY. They like old safe systems that they can get from their buddies and get a soft cushy retirement job for their old age.

A government purchase is not an endorsement for better technology.
