Risky move as there's a lot of folks out there who'd sell their souls for 38 cents that's guaranteed; and right now they can pick up units to not only capture the distribution but also take advantage of the discount of a half dollar or so through the tender from WNR.
So WNR said last week they will pay a .38 dividend and yesterday there was an echo from their puppets over at NTI? Coincidence or just a new dynamic from a bunch of yes men who were only put there to facilitate a smooth path to grab the cash flow and win the game. It could be that Goldman funds mentioned as owning enough of the units to swing the deal in the first place, will actually manipulate the WNR price higher after the deal by dropping more of their clients capital into the new combined company. You know the playing field is far from level... so don't put too big of a bet against them.
