#52060 RE: PacificNW #52052

I must be on a lot of members ignore list, so let me repeat my post which i believe is pretty darn bullish. NW as of 1/29/16 still owns 28% of NWBO in his two funds. INTERESTING and BULLISH wouldn't you say.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Woodford is stuck in his position just like everybody who has held this stock for any length of time. it would be suicidal to sell his 28% position - the share price would be well under a $1, unless the sale takes place through a private placement, which I highly doubt. It may have been you who made the case that he sold all of his position in HSBC after two months, the implication being that he's done it before, he can do it again - that is a totally different animal - apples to oranges - there is a much larger, more liquid market in HSBC stock. Woodford has very few options, the way I see it. However, and this may be just may be my paranoid mind at work, it may be he has another out. Note that he went out of his way to state that he became aware of "allegations" subsequent to his most recent purchase. I made the case on the YMB at that time that I believed him to be drawing a line in the sand so that he could potentially institute a legal proceeding to retrieve his investment. I note that he hired his own investigator (we all know the story, so let's not get into the details). You can bet he is receiving the best legal advice London has to offer as he maps out his next move - of course, depending on the results of the investigation.

And that is the headline I fear the most over the next month or two. The weak part of the thesis may very well be that any claw back of funds would likely only apply to his second investment and he would take a bath on his initial investment. However, he's a lot smarter than me, and it may be that he has other angles to pursue. One that jumps to mind would be a takeover of the company's assets following a legal proceeding. But I'm just speculating here. Like I say, he's a lot smarter than I am. One thing I am sure of - he plays hard ball, or whatever the cricket-equivalent metaphor is.

Apologies for taking so much of the board's time. Is it Flipper who is counting my posts? I think that was Number 7.
