welcome to the board and appreciate your perspective. The analysts provide the chatter, but the price is all that matters. They also have their clients interests at heart not the investing public.

$GS downgraded $AXP to sell when it was $10 with a $6 price tgt. The stock rallied over the next few years to $90 - $GS then upgraded the stock to buy with a tgt over $100. AXP has fallen almost $50 from there..... so yeah.... analysts are not the best
