All true. I didn't read it as him judging Brittany, only that he wanted to inspire others to try experimental treatments, because his has worked well so far.

It used to be so much more difficult to have hope with a GBM diagnosis, and as you could read in his story, the doctors are not up to speed on the latest treatments and often tell patients to go home and prepare to die.

I think he just wanted to spread information and hope, which is how I read it.
