Minor notational point: No offense, but for you and the others discussing this topic, remember that a reverse split is written 1:10 — one-for-ten. Avoids confusion.

As some consolation, if this does indeed happen, by reducing the shares outstanding and share float, the stock becomes harder to borrow, making it difficult for short sellers to short the stock.
