KC Cottrell Co Ltd (KCC)

Established in 1973, KCC has worked in the area of environmental technologies for over 40 years and continues to work to raise the level of Korea's environmental industry to global standards. KCC is the operator 10MW-scale dry sorbent post-combustion CO2 capture (PCC) facility at KOSPO's Hadong coal-fired power plant. In 2010, KCC with KOSPO entered an agreement with Canadian company Mantra Venture Group to demonstrate the effectiveness of Mantra's Carbon Recycling Technology (CCR) technology in converting waste CO2 into formic acid.
