bgall...I don't think they talked to anyone. This company appears to have a policy of NOT telling shareholders information. I think a good guess was made based off the 8/24 shares outstanding and the two trades on 9.28 and 9.29. The insider shares don't make sense because there would have been filings for those and there have been none.
Thats strange, its one of their duties for their publicly traded clients. In fact if you do a search on ihub you'll see other posters discussing getting the share structure from Vstock transfer who is also TALK's transfer agent. I'll give them a call when they are open again on Tuesday, I know a couple of people over there.
