"Current entity status" is ACTIVE. Which should mean that the company has been keeping its filings up to date in New York.

Most states require yearly officer/director lists. Maybe New York doesn't. Maybe some of the information is up to date, and some isn't. But if the company had filed an amendment to raise or lower the a/s, that information would appear on the site.

And the a/s number is set by the company in its state of incorporation. ONLY there. If the a/s hasn't been changed in New York, it hasn't been changed, unless the company has changed its domicile. But if it has, it should have notified New York of that.
