Thanks for posting the news, Doc K. It's interesting that they've come to a settlement, but not entirely unexpected:

I've known for months that ProjectCBD had appealed the SLAAP ruling to the 4th Appelate District Court in CA, but since the filing of briefs has been extended until Jan 25, 2016, I thought that last Friday's (1/8) case meeting in SD would be rescheduled.

I now think that they may have delayed the appelate court filing from the mid-December date because they were working on this settlement.

Of course, right now we have no idea as to the terms of the settlement, but I have to wonder if it will be similar to what I suggested above.
