I don't know if I buy the "future" part or how it is calculated, we have all seen the USA debt clock. But, those who say we don't have to worry about USA debt because the whole world is awash in debt should make a few comparisons. Sure, many countries in Europe, Japan and a scattering elsewhere have debt equal or greater to the USA, but the whole world is not wash in debt compared to the USA. Scary times, but opportunities in many low debt countries must be available, or "tailwind" countries. Big US companies doing a lot of business in low debt countries could benefit by better currency translations if other countries they do business currencies go up verse the dollar?
