Read the PR's. If what she wrote was incorrect, he would have disputed them. The PR stated that he recommended a candidate, she agreed one was needed and was going through the governance process. Do you think she should make these decisions without consulting the rest of the board or doing her due diligence? NW then went public before the process was completed, presumably to force her hand. So it looks like she is the one who has demonstrated caliber, not him.
