matt- are you mad at money? an advertiser wants people to see his ads. a thread that has many posts on it is more likely to accomplish that goal and enable a site to charge them higher rates to be placed there, than one that has fewer posts and readers. that's why popular tv shows and radio shows make more money than the unpopular ones do.
listen to the si crowd though, they know what's best.

P.S. please put the notice IHUB Advertisement in front of the ad.

Matt. If you go to so many posts and then that site losses the adds you are cutting off your best source for advertisers. They want eyeballs. AOL was built on the fact advertisers knew AOL would have so many people see their adds. Your site is the cleanest around. Giving the option to not see the adds for a small fee is more then going the extra mile for us. I look forward to your articles also. Information is knowledge. Thanks!

Matt,

Since the post background is blue, how about making the ad background white. I don't know if that'd be better or worse?

While I don't like the ads inside the message box, compared to blinking banner ads it may not be the worst thing going.

OTOH, having a GA Bard ad at the bottom of one of MY posts would make me want to barf.

Anything below is an IHub ad, not my doing...
