OT cotton, re: labels
I sometimes fantasize what would happen were I to be killed somewhere away from home and having no ID with me. Would it play out like the old murder mysteries where the body is found dressed in clothing bearing no labels? (I remove the inside ones too but that's mostly for comfort.)
"Well, inspector, the clothes are of good quality but the deceased has gone to an awful lot of trouble to make sure no one knows where they came from.
Do you suppose she was on the run? Perhaps she was traveling incognito."
"But wait, what's this? She forgot to remove the liners in her shoes! Just as I suspected, made by Crumbsy LTD. 'In service to Her Majesty the Queen'. Rest assured when we find the matching handbag we will have our culprit."
