This does not look like a safety trial ???? actual humans to be involved ???

It looks like nothing. There are no clinical trials recruiting, associated with Rich Pharma.

RP-323 is a non-existing drug in the scientific literature. You need in vitro data before the FDA would ever approve an IND. There's no evidence of any IND approval on the FDA website databases.

Despite recent myth, "Big Pharma" rarely if ever funds initial Phase I/II trials. If the initial Phase 1 trial shows promise, then "Big Pharma" might come in to provide funding. Including follow up Phase 1-3 trials. If the drug successfully completes Phase 3, "Big Pharma" owns the rights to market the drug, with a royalty on sales kickback. Usually in the 10-15% range.

Until a clinical trial pops up in the clinical trials database with the status of "recruiting" there's nothing but hot air in a PR.
