I still run XP pro-have no issues, never downloaded an update and tried all the anti-virus/spyware programs-have none installed on any of my systems. I have XP home, XP pro, Vista(the worst), 7, 8, 8.1 and tried 10. If defender is installed I leave it but no other so-called protectors. All machines run great. When I repair business puters-1st thing I do is remove protectors, then go to regedit and remove traces, then disk clean, remove all old restore points, run JRT & cleanmaster. Reboot and stop all updates from MS. No complaints from the people I service.
