Sure. To all of that. But didn't you cite your own relative to a "self-made man" who set a good example?
I think the real distinction may be in teaching children that the trappings of success--money and all that comes with it--aren't as important as making a difference in one way or another.
But no matter what you think, nowadays it's clear that most young people think making money is "success". And that nothing else counts for very much. That's just sad.
