Charts are worthless; Buffett doesn't use them. But they justify flipping which satisfies addicted gamblers. No one would buy a stock like WAVX except based on a chart.
Anyone can read charts, the alternative is much harder... investing on fundamentals. Who wants to study a pile of college level accounting and law texts for example? LOL
Brokers LOVE charts because they lead to increased trading.
