Not really. We have right to equal opportunity. And, in some cases, hundreds of years of unequal opportunity need to be redressed.

As for our tax laws as they affect overseas residents, that's a different question. But Congress just loves to stick it to expatriates. We're the only country in the world whose citizens can be double-taxed.
