I'll offer up this, though:
There are people who have a different mindset than you do. For example, they will do whatever is in their power to legally do to see a possible treatment to aid people who are ill and suffering through to completion. I hear your knee-jerk response forming already, but I suggest you stop and consider that some people in this market and world actually want to do good.
I won't defend Linda Powers or anyone else here; their defense is in the SEC filings. Yes, it is. Inferences are just that, inferences. May be right or wrong, but statements in the SEC filings are true until proven otherwise. Proven. Analogous to inferences that you are working with short sellers. May very well be absolutely true, right? But, until proven, you are innocent. Do you see how it works?

I may not be as clever as you in uncovering elaborate schemes of wrongdoing to make a buck. When I see someone step up and invest a whole lot of money and resources to resuscitate and build a company to continue important research to help people, I am not prone to look for selfish motives. But, then, I am naive and am willing to believe what reasoning shows me.

I welcome you here AF. Thanks to you, I have avoided a HUGE loss although it took me nearly two years to see the light. Thankfully, you kept me on my toes to look beyond my DD and see for myself the tell tale signs of deceit veiled by opaqueness. Keep up the hard work. SRS
