I agree that is why I said 6/125-130 is what he will wind up getting. I don't think he will get what he wants all agent make ridiculous comments about the contract they are looking for in the beginning, then we meet at a more reasonable (I realize reasonable ain't really reasonable, but it is a relative term at this point) price later on. The difference is the mets have like a 3-5 year window before these pitchers start leaving so it is important to try and win now and go all out. You can stink after and rebuild. I believe cespedes is the guy as long as they go 6/125 if he signs somewhere else for more then you have to let him go, but I want them to be a serious bidder, this guy was a big reason why the mets went on a run in the second half. And although I realize his 83 XBH year is a career year if he could just average 60-70 XBH over the next 5 year window I'll be happy to have him in my opinion.
