It's been said before, by me, by many -- yes, with links, etc.
When words like "eliminated upon settlement" are misunderstood as an accounting term for consolidated reporting, ignoring "public traded company" as the failed target of acquisition, and the multitudinous determinating POR, and the "MORs tell the story of what happened to all investments with WMI Investment Corp" down to the penny -- it goes on and on -- and has become funny to me ... well
In short, you're either a revisionist history believer or not. You're either a POR person or you aren't. You're either "what matters is post-emergence, not ancient - and resolved issues" person or not.
No amount of recapping back and forth is going to matter.
So, it's a good bed-time story. Makes for nice fiction.
None of it has played out. None of it will.
Absence of Evidence is not Evidence of Absence. Eg, the fact "nothing has happened YET" isn't evidence that the theory is true.
It's like going to a movie where you have to "suspend" certain beliefs to 'enjoy' the movie. But in our world, this isn't a movie. And suspending certain key - immutable items -- isn't going to happen.
Again, that said -- I am very bullish on WMIH. And I hold a huge amount of Escrows and would ~love~ to have fantasy billions roll in. Realities aren't that.
