Don't forget that the NASDAQ doesn't require a buyer for every share sold. The market-maker buys up excess shares to keep the market liquid.

Theoretically, there can be all sellers and no buyers and conversely, all buyers and no sellers. Given the minuscule amount of money involved in these trades, the MM can gobble up every share for under $20k today. Why, because they have to.

exactly my point. the share price is in the toilet because fewer shareholders are holding onto shares, while fewer others keep buying the dip believing in dreams, establishing even larger/worthless positions.

I know a wavoid who slashed his position from 235K shares to 2500 shares. Those holding are stuck with worthless shares and choose to be around to see the last chapter unfold, hoping for miracle.

Sad.
