Thanks for that very interesting information and I think it is confirming that SGLB is the stand alone quality assurance system for the time being (for my understanding for at least the next three to four years). Anyhow SGLB is confirmed in a so called lockstep with GE aviation and Honeywell after many years development and testing periode.
…so all that time JJ talked about 'acoustic' sensors he was barking up the wrong tree? [I suspected that part- but I did think the acoustic signature info was part of our patent on weld pool monitoring too? Or is that from the patent Mark and Vivek worked on that's owned by the gov't still? Legitimate question- I really don't know…. anybody? If EOS is using Fourier Transforms to bypass patent infringement I am not happy about it. (That's too simple a fix for us not to be doing it, if it really is based on Mark and Vivek's past work).
