Retail never knows until after the event takes place, and sometimes we never know at all. Retail doesn't move stocks like this without public news. This is all inside the industry stuff and we're just along for the ride.
IMO, 1 of 2 things is happening: Insiders are closing out short positions and/or insiders know a deal will be inked soon.
I think it's both: cause and effect. But we'll just have to see.
