The way I understand it is that while you’re watching TV and you see something you like (a suit, wristwatch, a sleek convertible, cool pair of sunglasses……) you’ll be able to click it with your cell phone - powered by qode - and be able to do things as if you were doing so with the physical object in hand. Same analogy as with print adds bearing barcodes except now you have multiple channels airing 24/7. Media could get additional $s by selling this real time ‘opportunity’ to advertisers, and companies buying airtime could see additional sales through impulsive price shopping/buying. It could take the concept of infomercials to a new level.
Don’t remember a name for it and I don’t think a single word describing this has been invented yet. Any suggestions?

I was not at the SHM. I did not get a chance to meet with Chas.

BUT, people, other than myself, will make the connection to TV also it is only another piece in the puzzle.

Media is trying to get to the consumer and there is going to be one way to get to them. They need to cater to the comsumer.

Personalize the platform so they get what they want and make it mobile. Everyone is going to want the easiest, fastest, quickest, way, to get information.

How else can you save money, find information, by connecting to an object directly that you want.

Using cell phones/PDA thru TV, objects, pictures, codes, coupons, discounts, bargins, direct search of an object, advertising, you name it. Search/Connection going thru cell phones/PDA goes thru Neomedia.

I am waiting for the launch before I get the internet on the cell phone. I cannot afford additional billing for my cell phone just yet. In due time.
