I doubt Hendry will leave anytime soon, as they just gave him a new long term contract a couple of months ago. As to McPhail, he's proven that he can put together a World Series winner on a small budget. He did it in Minnesota. So I don't see him leaving soon either.

I do wholeheartedly endorse the Mark Cuban idea, as I've said a few times here in the last few weeks. But the Tribune Company has stated that they aren't planning on selling the Cubs in the near future. Ideally, I'd like to see whoever owns the Cubs to also own WGN. But WGN is the Tribune's biggest profit maker. So that ain't gonna happen either.

I'll be satisfied for the time being if Dusty leaves ASAP, and takes Rothschild and Clines with him.
