Was shocked when I looked at gold at 3 AM this morning. Sold all my JDST for a small profit early this morning and having been sitting on the side lines wondering what happened.

Yes usually algos are involved if there's sudden unexplained volume and price movement. Could be the case. Maybe some shorts covering near cycle lows as well.
