He was only fined 350,000 he did not have to pay back the 10.7 million dollars. They would have had to prove him guilt for that to happen. The judgement made buy the judge was for him to pay 350k only. That's the only way he would have even took that judgement. Trust me if he did take 10.7 million and had to pays 11,050,000 back he would have taken it to court not for a judgement the would have had to prove hime guilty to get one dime. Learn the law.

In connection with the settlement, Schreiber and Granite consented, without admitting or denying the allegations in the Commission's complaint, to orders permanently enjoining them against future violations of Sections 17(a)(2) and 17(a)(3) of the Securities Act, and to pay penalties of $100,000 and $250,000 respectively.
