The article is inaccurate on a technicality, in that they were not obliged to file their holdings while WMIH was on the OTC. If you look at the filings for Appaloosa and Greywolf you will notice they are for 2012 to present. If they only bought recently, why then would they file for any year other than 2015??? Let that sink in for a while.
