As to informants, I'd say they tell the truth about some things, but not about others. They naturally try to present themselves in the best light.

But that isn't what we're dealing with here. MoMo and his successor aliases have been deployed to disseminate a variety of information and disinformation. for example, FuturesTransfers46 was right about Macallan's involvement. On the other hand, what he has to say about Carlos Salas and Beaufort doesn't make any sense at all.

It seems very important to them to insist that the GIM note was entirely legitimate. It can be proved beyond any doubt that it wasn't. So what's next?

You know, it isn't always about them telling the truth. It's about what lies they choose to tell.
